Tengo 16 años y conci a Richard a los 15, la verdad no conozco toda su discográfica, el es como mi héroe de la música porque antes de el solo escuchaba música pop (no mainstream) Gracias a el conocí rock alternativo, luego el britpop que tiene una escencia única, he esuchado grupos como The Stone Roses Blur Oasis The verve y definitivamente me quedo con Oasis y Te verve. No tengo muchas canciones de Richard pero algo me lleva hacia el, aunque sus canciones a veces me parezcan simples, cuando lo escucho cantar estoy segura que el tiene algo que ningún otro cantante en el mundo tiene, algo que me hace sentir que esta aquí, que su música es especial y pienso que todos deberían de escucharla. Cada vez que lo veo cantar con sus ojos cerrados y su voz celestial siento como si el fuera la música, siento como si viera a un genio que no tiene el reconocimiento que se merece y me siento feliz de haberlo conocido. EL año pasado el vino a México y no pude ir, me sienot algo culpable, si viene el próximo año no se si pueda ir, pero juro que algun dia ire al lugar que tenga que ir para escucharlo cantar. En the verve el era todo para mi, en la cancion de BSS las letras eran la cancion, el puro instrumental seria basura sin la letra, creo haber comprendido la letra despues de pensar y lo unico que aun no me queda claro es "But the airways are clean and there's nobody singing to me now..." Quisiera que el supiera que el es mi ídolo, mi héroe y es mi músico favorito, que los jóvenes tambien escuchan su musica porque se que no soy la unica. Tengo tantos sueños en los que creo que ir a concierto y abrazarlo es solo un sueño mas en los que creo. Algún dia te veré y te seguire a donde tenga que ir, esuchare tu musica hasta el final de mi vida mi capitan.

Had the honour of seeing the verve 3 times and the LEGEND Richard Ashcroft twice they are the best band in the world from storm in a heaven to forth exceptional the man is a lyrical god I stand accused just like for been born without a silver spoon
